American Legion Hurd-Welch Post 90 Supports Hero Pups Organization
Hero Pups provides support dogs to veterans and first responders in New England diagnosed with service-related psychological challenges. Hero Pups is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and are 100 percent volunteer-run with no paid staff. In preparation for the upcoming construction of a new training facility, Hurd-Welch Post 90 of Raymond volunteers trenched and installed nearly 300’ of conduit during the first week of January. This effort was spearheaded by George Plante with support from Christian Frahs, Bob Horwath and Tom Pepin. Post 90 has a long history of working with and supporting Hero Pups and we applaud and support the great work that is being done by this organization.
